Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening | Madsen and Hirsch Dental Care | Madison, WI Dentists
One easy, effective way of addressing stained and discolored smiles is through the use of cosmetic teeth whitening. Drs. Madsen & Hirsch have three ways that they enjoy whitening patients' teeth: in-office teeth whitening, tray method, and a combination of both.

At Madsen & Hirsch Dental Care, they will ensure that you undergo the best tooth whitening method for you and your personal situation and desires. At our office, during the diagnosis portion of our consultation, we will find out exactly which method of whitening will work best for the patient. By listening to our patients' concerns, as well as evaluating the depth and extent of their staining and discoloration, we can find the best teeth whitening combination for them to get them the results that they deserve.

Drs. Madsen & Hirsch have the #1 requested  Zoom in-office whitening system.  In as little as 45 minutes of treatment time, you can have your teeth whitened up to 8 shades lighter with Zoom Whitening.

Teeth whitening through the tray method is also a great way to get rid of deep inner stains. These are custom-fabricated trays that are created for patients to take home and use on their own with whitening gels. The benefit of at-home whitening trays is that the patient controls the amount of whitening that they do. They can keep adding the whitening material until they get their teeth to the level of whitening that they want it to stay at.  Tetracycline and fluorosis staining can be addressed with today's whitening bleaches. While these chemicals may have incorporated deep into the enamel while growing up, they don't have to become permanent. It used to be that the only way to address these stains was to use thick, opaque veneers over the teeth. However, with the tray method of teeth whitening, patients can continually whiten their teeth and allow the bleaching to go deeper and deeper into their tooth enamel. It will eventually work all the way through and start to whiten the inner dentin underneath, removing these deep chemical stains over a period of time.

If you want to whiten your smile and have it look its best, call Madsen & Hirsch Dental Care today to schedule a consultation appointment.
